Kris Martin is a 23 year old native of Burlington Ontario and is one of the most dynamic young race car drivers in North America. Off the track Kris is a youth advocate for VOICE and CHHA, associations that support the hearing impaired. Kris was born profoundly deaf. At age 8 he received an implant allowing him to gain hearing and speak rather than sign. Kris is acvtively involved in charity work, he does speaking engagement accross North America.

Kris finishes 18th at Summer ShowdownKris placed 18th in Delaware Summer Showdown this past Wednesday. Kris finished 3rd in his heat and was running 14th but unfortunately had to pull out of the race in the final laps. Kyle Busch went on to take the checkered flag.
